2017 Astral National Auditions: Application Deadline

Philadelphia, PA, January 3, 2017–Astral Artists is pleased to announce that the 2017 Astral National Auditions application is now open. The application deadline is March 8, 2017. An independent panel will screen applicants anonymously. Those who pass this preliminary round will be invited to Philadelphia in early June to audition live for an esteemed panel of leading musicians, conductors, agents, and industry leaders.

The Astral National Auditions are a 3-round process. Round 1 is the online application;
Round 2 is the live audition in Philadelphia, and Round 3 is in-person interviews for finalists from Round 2.

About the Astral National Auditions
Each year Astral auditions strings, small chamber ensembles, piano, woodwinds, and voice applicants for a spot on its esteemed roster of approximately 25 musicians. National Auditions Winners receive customized career development mentorship, a full complement of marketing materials, superior performance opportunities, community engagement experience, artistic exploration, and networking with top professionals in the field.

Astral is a nonprofit intensive mentoring program that specializes in developing the early careers of extraordinary classical musicians. The organization concentrates its resources on a small number of rising-star soloists and chamber ensembles with the potential to be change-makers and influencers in classical music.
